Heartwell's vibrant artwork facilitates meaningful connections and digital identities. She explores the energy we bring to avatars and share in online spaces, games, AR/VR and extended reality. She enjoys the full creative process with authentic ideation, imagination, conceptualization, and visualization of her themes. Heartwell studied traditional painting, sculpture, 3D animation, and art history, earning an MFA, BFA, and BEd. She has been showing her art in galleries, museums, collections, pop ups, and festivals worldwide including Miami Art Week events '21- '23, Tezos Art Connect NYC '23, Times Square big screen '22, NFT.NYC '21 official show, Versace Mansion, Red Dot, BTCMiami, DCentral Miami, plus shows in Beijing, Bogota, LA, Denver, Austin, Palm Beach, San Diego, and Hollywood.

Her career work has supported her growth as an artist and a variety of technical skills. Highlights as an artist and animator include Toy Story 3 for Leapfrog, CSI Miami for Nintendo DS, Full Auto for XBox360, YoVille for Facebook, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for IMAX 3D. She is currently developing her own Sandbox games. She has worked behind the scenes in museums and non-profit art galleries and applies her knowledge of curation, hanging, and archival presentation to her physical artwork.
